1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using aiclean.tech ("Website") and the aiclean command-line tool ("CLI" or "Software"), collectively referred to as the "Service," you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

aiclean is a command-line tool that scans and cleans disk space consumed by caches, temporary files, and other reclaimable data from AI tools, code editors, package managers, and other development software. The Service is offered in two tiers:

  • Free Tier: The open-source CLI tool licensed under the MIT License. Includes manual scanning, interactive cleaning, risk-aware safety, dry run preview, JSON output, local logs, and usage statistics.
  • Pro Tier: A paid subscription ($5/month or $39/year) that adds age-based cleaning, scheduled auto-clean, priority support, and early access to new features.

aiclean is a software product. We do not provide 1:1 services, consulting, or customized products. All users receive the same software and features within their respective tier.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account & Subscription

4.1 Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your chosen payment method at the applicable rate. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, invoicing, tax compliance, and payment-related matters. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.

4.4 Refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or free trials. The Free tier is fully functional and available indefinitely, so we encourage you to try the free version before purchasing Pro. By subscribing to Pro, you acknowledge that you have evaluated the free version and understand the additional features included in the Pro tier.

5. License & Intellectual Property

5.1 Free Tier (Open Source)

The free version of the aiclean CLI is open source and distributed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions of the MIT License.

5.2 Pro Tier

Pro features are provided under a subscription license. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Pro features for the duration of your active subscription. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or share your Pro license key with others.

5.3 Website Content

All content on the aiclean website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by aiclean and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without prior written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from Pro-only components
  • Share, distribute, or resell Pro license keys
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us
  • Use automated means to access the Website in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. The aiclean CLI interacts with files on your local system. While we implement risk-aware safety systems (including risk levels, dry-run previews, and confirmation prompts), you are ultimately responsible for reviewing what will be deleted before confirming any cleaning operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AICLEAN AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless aiclean and its owners, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Pro features if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use Pro features ceases immediately. The Free tier CLI remains available under the MIT License regardless of account status.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
